Common Questions
What you might be wondering
Do you take Insurance?
1
I work with some insurance; however, best work is with private pay. This is a deliberate choice—it keeps our work focused on what you need, not what an insurance company will authorize. It also means complete confidentiality. No diagnosis required to start.
Are sessions virtual or in-person?
2
I focus for working professionals and most hours are after 6 pm. All sessions are virtual to make this most convenient for busy professionals who can't carve out commute time but can block 50-90 minutes at home or late in the office.
I'm not sure if I need therapy or coaching. Does it matter?
3
Not really—at least not to start. We'll figure out what kind of support actually fits what you're dealing with. Many clients benefit from both, and I'm trained to work across that spectrum.
How long does this take?
4
It depends on what you're working on. Some people notice real shifts within 6–8 sessions. Others choose to continue longer-term. There's no pressure—we'll check in regularly on what's working and what you need.
Are you licensed to work with me?
4
If you are looking for a very confidential process; I’m licensed in Oregon and California for therapy. You will need to be in one of those states for our therapy sessions. Coaching is private, I just cannot always guarantee confidentiality. If you're based elsewhere, reach out—telehealth licensure landscapes are changing and I'm happy to discuss options.
